Planned Giving

Thank you so much for your interest in learning about the many benefits of gift plans. Planned giving allows you to make a donation to the AETN Foundation that is mutually beneficial – it ensures good stewardship of your assets by increasing benefits for yourself and for your family while supporting quality educational programs and services at AETN that change lives!

Planned gifts generously given to the AETN Foundation are placed into our General Endowment unless directed differently by the donor(s). Earnings generated from investments are also used to grow the Endowment. This fund exists to help cover cost increases for purchasing national programs, to help fund local program production, and to help fund the expansion of new program and service ventures, while safeguarding against any potential decrease in operating funds.

Bequest Language

A bequest to AETN through the AETN Foundation is a way of perpetuating your support for the role that AETN plays in the lives of others. It also enables you to make a major gift that might not otherwise be possible during life.

Through a bequest, you may leave to AETN a specific dollar amount, for example, $50,000, or may reserve for AETN all or a certain percentage of the estate after provisions for family members and other beneficiaries have been made. You may stipulate whether the bequest is for the general support of AETN or for a specific purpose. A bequest may also be made in honor or memory of another individual.

In addition to cash and securities, bequests to AETN may include real estate, works of art, and other forms of personal property. All outright bequests to AETN are exempt from federal estate taxes, and there is no limitation on the size of the gift.

Suggested Forms of Bequests
